Alturas Lake

Alturas Lake is a natural lake located in the Sawtooth National Forest of central Idaho, United States. It is situated roughly 20 miles southwest of the town of Stanley, Idaho. The lake covers an area of approximately 400 acres and has a maximum depth of 59 feet. The lake is known for its crystal-clear waters and scenic surroundings, which include the rugged Sawtooth Mountains. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, hiking, and camping.
